Why I started Posting On Linkedin in 2024

I’m assuming you as somebody who is looking For a career change and is wanting more from life.
I mean, It is absolutely okay to Demand more from life and I believe that’s how one should be.
I was somebody who just didn’t advocate for living a life in a shell, I couldn’t expect anything less from life than lots of free time with my mother and my Dogs.
I always have and always will choose a life that can keep me fulfilled emotionally and soulfully.
So, the day I decided that My Time is 100% under my Ownership and I would do anything to save more time and enjoy my tea watching the sunset.

5 reasons I decided to started to write on linkedIn.
- TO HAVE A COMMUNITY, TO HAVE PEOPLE LISTEN TO ME AND CARE ABOUT WHAT I HAVE TO SAY
- TO ATTRACT FREELANCE CLIENTS/INBOUND LEADS
- TO MARKET MY DIGITAL PRODUCTS
- TO ATTAIN FREEDOM
- TO ATTAIN MORE TIME TO SPEND WITH FAMILY AND SPEND WRITING MY NOVELS
Those were my Reasons why I fell in love with LINKEDIN and It’s the Most valuable thing I gifted myself this year in july 2024.
LinkedIn has been my best friend since July now, I began posting very consistently just recently, not for the whole 2 months, Have had around 40000+ post impressions, over 1500+ profile views in 2.5 weeks time. I’ve booked 4 clients with a space of half a month with such low following count. So, I’d like to believe that I’m doing something right.
Those numbers aren’t very impressive now, but what I look at is the propotion of people who have decided to follow me compared to the impressions I’ve got.
Why are you telling me all this Raksha?

The Tomorrow might just be 6 months away from Now, Your tomorrow might be just 4 months away from now, you never know!
But the tomorrow might never turn up because you did not take action today.
What Linkedin Gave me
The Confidence
It gave me Confidence to quit my Job and dive into my blogging and freelancing venture with much lesser fear that usual.
Linkedin has been a fuel to my dream, A reliable medium to express myself and showcase my work, most importantly it has become a place where I can be professional even outside of my office.
It is the major Hub in the world where the C-level executives hang out, and that makes it is crucial stage for your presence.
Can You Earn Through Linkedin?
It took my over 3 months to get my First Client, but I do not count it as I feel the first Client I got was by luck, I had around 100 followers at the time and this Client wanted me to write an e-book for him, I couldn’t thank God enough for that opportunity, that one client helped me from being broke.
All along I kept learning the skill of Copywriting, I consistently posted online, linkedin had now bled into my life.
Gradually, after I engaged and posted constantly, Ngl, I had hit the wall of discouragemnt once, so bad that i could see no future, I cried and waited patiently, nevwr stopped posting, and one day I received an Inbound request that was beyond my expectations, it was a company, rather a Dream client who had reached out, and that raised my Hopes to the Sky!
I could finally see light through tunnel.
Along this journey of discouragement and battle I had learned a hell LOT about myself, I discovered strengths that I’d never known before.
The willingness to make things happen.
To do it hurt
To do it scared
To stand up broken
These are skills that have now found their place in my list of Core Values.
That day I understood One important lesson.
Nothing goes in Vain!
I repeat, NOTHING..
Every tear you’ve cried once will return it’s favour!
So, Keep going no matter what, the brighter future is nearer than you can imagine.
