“What makes you happy?” is a commonly asked question to which some people seem to be too lost to answer but there are times most commonly where we are so immersed into our responsibilities and have really not given much thought that if we are actually happy or just operating inadvertently completing our daily, tightly scheduled activities.

That you await the time of the day wanting to do that one thing, it could be gardening, cooking, writing, running, teaching your child. Passion could be of any form. But identify what brightens you in your daily life. That’s how you identify what you are a drawn towards and what comes naturally to you. Stay alert.
WHAT ARE YOUR TRANSFERABLE SKILLS?
Firstly, let us understand the meaning. Transferable skill simply means the skills or abilities that are common across any fields which could be your career identity. Transferable skills are skillsets that are mostly common and are essential skills you carry no matter what your background is. You can always use these in any job of any field you take up, these are what makes you stand out. For example, time management, organizing, kindness, quick work etc.. Anything that makes you stand out. no rocket science in it, simply observe yourself, observe what skills in your current job can be used in the next job as well.
WHAT ARE YOU UNHAPPY ABOUT CURRENTLY?
Most Important, you need to know the real cause of unhappiness at your current workplace. Why exactly are you looking for a change and what change exactly? Sometimes we feel so stuck and furious that we regret taking up the particular job and start hating everything about the job, for example, imagine your boss doesn’t approve your leave last minute after you have booked your flight tickets, it has happened with me and for a short period I have hated everything related to my job.
So that happens you see, You need to clearly understand the ‘Why‘. Is it your boss you hate, is it the timings you hate, is it the company rules that don’t match your lifestyle or your core values, is it the field itself you are bored of. What is it really?
Finding the ‘Why’ of your unhappiness, knowing the problem will definitely help to such an extent that it could change your life. First, know the problem, if you don’t hate your job but just the boss, you think you would be happier if your in a different company with the same role? If learning something new and exploring a whole new career Is your solution? Learn about your problem and that will help in taking your next step forward.
