Who do you think is more talented? Intelligent people are intimidating? is there really a competition?
Ever felt extremely scared of being in a situation where you feel you’re the dumbest of all, and feared of getting caught?
You had the confidence to get into a group of intellectuals, but finding it difficult to maintain the confidence for too long. You feel like this Isn’t the place for you. This Isn’t..
It keeps you dwelled into self doubt, you feel embarrassed just by the mountain of thoughts piling up in your little head.
You aren’t alone. This happens to the best of us!
Let’s begin by understanding what IMPOSTER SYNDROME IS.
Imposter syndrome is a persistent feeling of inadequacy despite evidence of success. It is that nagging voice that makes you feel unfit at a certain situation or a place.

A Research describes it as a behavioral health phenomenon described as self doubt of intellect, skills or accomplishments among high achieving individuals.
The individuals cannot internalize their success and subsequently experience pervasive feelings of self doubt, anxiety, depression and apprehension of being exposed as a fraud in their work despite verifiable and objective evidence of their successfulness.
Believe me, you are not alone, this blog might help you understand your worth, maybe just help a little even, it ay not contain a deeper knowledge if you are looking for it, but all i have for you is to say, you aren’t alone, AT ALL!! Here’s a Research you can read for deeper insight on Imposter syndrome.
This isn’t something to blame yourself for, this feeling isn’t a new one to the world and it doesn’t harm you, the feeling of self doubt actually helps you stay grounded but if navigated in the right way.
When we find ourselves stuck in such a situation, your body quivers, you feel chills in your spine and your whole head and face feel flushed, especially when we are very close to any encounter where we are required to display our skills at a job, or any activity that you know you are good at but if asked to display, you might worry they might not feel it being as good as you explained them.

Perfectionism, is one highlighted factor about imposter syndrome. People who have managed to complete every little task as children with the perfection that is required and have outscored their peers during any event, becomes a fixation in mind that whatever they do needs to be perfect or nothing at all.
I have been in this exact situation, embarrassed at first to share it. You have no idea how many times I’ve written and deleted a paragraph about my story in this blog, because imposter syndrome feels embarrassing at times.
It was difficult for me to state that I had to undergo the same self doubt and chills for even seeing a missed call from my manager, the fear gives me chills. The calls are a reminder that I’m being observed and I cannot hide anymore. I’ve gathered enough strength by now to share it here.
CONCLUSION : Imposter syndrome is extremely normal, high-achievers feel it, Especially individuals who have multiple interests in life, look out for not being laid back at even one of their talents. They are afraid of letting any one of their talents deaden.
While it is true we cannot serve two masters, but, we can definitely narrow down our strengths and interests, prioritize what serves our sole purpose and our happiness and divide our energies to give each.
Even be bold enough to give up on something that blocks us from things that we want to achieve. Be patient with yourself, make up a strategy, plan your time, keep a dedicated time in a day for self reflection, KNOW YOUR WORTH AT ALL TIMES BUT STAY GROUNDED.
