Let’s talk…
You chose a career that you really love but your bored on most days. You chose a career just seeing the financial aspect but are bored everyday.
Questions arise like, is this even worth it? Am I on the right path? What was I thinking when I joined here?
ROUTINE OR RUT?
So you come every morning at your desk, switch on the computer, make yourself a coffee, open your diary, made a to do list like always or maybe not. And started your day. You already are waiting for the the day to end and it doesn’t seem to end any sooner. You see by the time you take your bag and step outside it’s almost getting darker and there isn’t time for you to stop at a coffee shop and eat something because you need to rush home before dinner time. And maybe an hour of TV or family time. You’re tired as hell and want to dive into your bed to once again waking up early to go to the same place.
The question is how much do we allow our work to affect our life and in what way, for example, giving up 9 hours in a 12 hour available daytime and spending 3 hours for leisure and food and 8 hours for sleep. How much sense does that make?
The hustle culture’ as they call it can be daunting at times. It carries the ability to make us feel incapable or unsuccessful? but whatever the culture is defined as, I believe it should be used in areas that we actually hold an interest in. Hustling isn’t a bad thing though. But it isn’t something that is required for us to do. When we really love something and we are naturally pulled towards the thing, we do everything possible to achieve it. Now that’s a hustle, what they always mention.

I have come to a realization that, no matter how much you love what you do, and the interest that you take in it. If you are not meant for being in one particular routine or don’t like going to the same place every time and even want to succeed. You’d rather choose freelancing and build your own brand. Because there is no as much freedom as freelancing has. It does come with complications, it does take time. But your efforts and consistency decides how long you can await success.
The reason I highlighted ‘Consistency’ in the previous para was because I struggled with it. Having the talent and the motivation just isn’t enough, and I am a strong believer that every person who chose passion and failed was because they lacked consistency. Every human would have some or the other gifts of God within them, but without EXECUTION it is all an utter Fail!
Yes, coming back to the point of Boredom now, see while I have no step by step process like other bloggers to help you out because trying out different ways just adds up to your routine and make it more daunting.

TIP : I believe that it’s not always about the field of interest or if you like your job or not. Sometimes we need to listen to our inner child and the intrusive thoughts. Listen to the child, listen to the gut. It tells you. And if this doesn’t suit the child in you perhaps you are in the wrong place.

But, always remember, do not ever take decisions keeping your loved ones at stake. You can work harder, remember why you started all this in the first place, set bigger priorities and keep reminding yourself of you motive. We need to be very careful in choosing what we are ready to lose in the process.
All the best.
