All we need to do is to have a healthy routine and something to nourish you from time to time, self- care helps in resetting your whole mental system, and rejuvenates your body as well.
If we decide to treat our bodies like a place that holds you and helps you perform Life, I believe it deserves the pampering too.

Practical self-care tips for Busy Lives
The oldie Goldie 9-5. That never, by the way start at 9 or end by 5. We’ve all been there and done that. Working a corporate job isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. Not many are courageous enough to continue riding the corporate roller coaster, I have immense respect, because I’m somebody who has worked in a corporate setup for over 3 years, but just lost the guts to Continue working. My mother already knew I couldn’t make it. But I was sure if not that, I would do atleast something in life. So, I very well know the pain of irregular sleep cycles, and empty stomachs most afternoons, unavoidable headaches and jugs of coffee round the clock.
How daunting that sounds. But imagine you do not even have a self care routine during such times, and as I completely understand how it feels to get back home all exhausted and even think of slap on a sheet mask, all you do is just enter, drag yourself to the washroom and take a shower, maybe cook a light dinner if energies allow, or order in. When do you do self-care then?
So, here I have some great ways to detox your mind and have a self-care routine in the most practical ways.
- Wake up when your sleep is complete
- Take atleast 30 mins of your mornings for yourself, just to enjoy the hot cup of tea or coffee
- Go for a small walk, or simply sit with your family and enjoy the breakfast.
- Just before leaving for work, make sure you have some time to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, slow yourself down consciously and then step out of the door.
- Make sure you take enough breaks at work, every hour is recommended, no matter how busy you are getting up for a quick stroll makes all the difference.
- Get home at the earliest possible, Get out of the office immediately, the moment you are free, because that somewhere helps you get decent amount of time off work.
- The days you don’t have any plans outside of work, get home and without wasting a second jump into your comfys. It becomes really important for us to get out of the office zone completely and without wasting a second.
- Now, this is the time for yourself, you will be surprised that even saving 30 mins from your regular routine to get back into your comfort feels so refreshing
- Next up, have a nourishing meal, either cook or order in, I would suggest preparing the simplest hot pot meal.
- Now since you have a little extra time today, see if your nails need a trim
- Observe if your underarms or legs need a shave or a wax?
- Watch yourself in the mirror and see if your hair needs a wash.
so, often simply getting the time to observe yourself and notice a few things undone like your hair and skin or dark circles gives you the urge to give yourself that extra care, we often forget to make time to sit with ourselves and observe each thing about us.

This is crucial.
Having the right attitude towards life and How you carry yourself to navigate through life challenges is extremely important to note, because this is something that is going to help stay sane in the longer run.

Because, The only belief I kept at this point was that, I will Either be selected or Learn the reasons to improve further. I didn’t not accept rejection as a failure or something to be ashamed of.
